06.25.2016: Exactly a month since my last update (somehow), I'm once again bringing in some big changes. The forum structure has been revamped AGAIN, essentially reversing the changes made back in November. The 'Old IGNO' style of posting is officially back, by popular demand!! We will henceforth be emphasizing our signature style of spontaneous in-character discussions instead of the ill-attempted shift towards traditional roleplaying. Head over to the Casual RP forum and jump into the action!! And fear not - the traditional topics are still here, they just got a new home, too!! --SG2
05.25.2016: Am I alive again? Who knows. Regardless of my state of existence, I'm doing some much-needed cleanup over at IGNOpedia. I'd like to regain my IGNO mojo and start attracting newbies now that summer break has begun, for the bored folks out there looking for a new RP hangout... --SG2
12.1.2015: Completely rewrote the Element Guide from scratch. Now much more comprehensive!! --SG2
11.24.2015: Major overhaul in-progress!! Changed the skin, revamped the forum structure, and fixed a few things under the hood. Stay tuned for more revisions to the world, the map, and completely redone backstory of IGNOLand!! --SG2
11.12.2015: I'm back from the dead. Time to take a break from playing Skyrim and make a return to IGNOLand - big things planned!! --SG2

Thought I'd explain another jcink feature that's really useful, but may be easily overlooked.
Those of you from the old board surely remember our Awesomeness Points system, yes? Well, while we went through a few different Awesomeness systems (because it wasn't a Zetaboards feature, but rather third-party codes that would occasionally break), for the most part we enjoyed using this feature to give each other points for good posts or humorous jokes.
Well, that feature is actually built-in on jcink, and has been hiding in your mini-profile the entire time we've been here!! Sadly, it seems that this feature is seldom used...leading me to wonder if people have ever truly noticed it before.
Simply hover over the avatar of the person whose reputation you wish to increase...
(alternatively, this can be done directly from the user's profile page)
Click the PLUS sign to add a reputation point...or the MINUS to take one away (please don't abuse the minus feature, that should be reserved for posts made in bad taste).
Then just give a reason for the increase!! You may choose to be anonymous, if you like.
And that's it!! A member's reputation count is displayed in their miniprofile. Should you wish to view the details about their points, just click where it says 'rep'...
...and you can see the person who gave the points, in which thread (or if it was via their profile), whether it was an increase or decrease, and the date. You can also increase or decrease reputation directly from this page, or undo any points you have already given.
So that's about it!! Now that you know about this feature, get out there and start rewarding people for their good posts!!
I'll have to change the up/down icons on the reputation view page to match the skin...

This is cool, I like how it is built in and works natively. Very easy! :)
