06.25.2016: Exactly a month since my last update (somehow), I'm once again bringing in some big changes. The forum structure has been revamped AGAIN, essentially reversing the changes made back in November. The 'Old IGNO' style of posting is officially back, by popular demand!! We will henceforth be emphasizing our signature style of spontaneous in-character discussions instead of the ill-attempted shift towards traditional roleplaying. Head over to the Casual RP forum and jump into the action!! And fear not - the traditional topics are still here, they just got a new home, too!! --SG2
05.25.2016: Am I alive again? Who knows. Regardless of my state of existence, I'm doing some much-needed cleanup over at IGNOpedia. I'd like to regain my IGNO mojo and start attracting newbies now that summer break has begun, for the bored folks out there looking for a new RP hangout... --SG2
12.1.2015: Completely rewrote the Element Guide from scratch. Now much more comprehensive!! --SG2
11.24.2015: Major overhaul in-progress!! Changed the skin, revamped the forum structure, and fixed a few things under the hood. Stay tuned for more revisions to the world, the map, and completely redone backstory of IGNOLand!! --SG2
11.12.2015: I'm back from the dead. Time to take a break from playing Skyrim and make a return to IGNOLand - big things planned!! --SG2

A while back I had been looking into a way to change the default colors in the forum dropdown to more pleasing tones...so rather than the pure red we could have something more pleasing, like this shade. Sadly, I found that these were hard-coded into the board and there was no way to change them = 'red' would equate to 'ff0000' for all eternity.
It was only just now that the (somewhat obvious) idea occurred to me that if I couldn't change the actual color values...I could still add word filters to get my way!!
All the main colors you may wish to use now have a more pleasing variant. No need to memorize or constantly have to copy/paste specific color values to avoid those ugly blinding shades. You want something green? You can still just type 'green' as the value, it'll just filter to a much more easy on the eyes shade instead of this mess.
But I decided I could even take it a step further - into the username colors we have all come to know and love!!
Includes alternates for the commonly-used names as well as the member's actual username: ex. using 'lg' or 'littlegoten' will both produce his color.
On a final note, the colors corresponding to the elements are all there as well, exactly as you'd expect them:
*(gray/grey instead filter to this shade to match the color palette of the skin)
Also, if you want to invoke that particular shade of IGNO blue used as our skins' accent color, the value is 'teal'.
So yes...new colors all around!! Go forth and given new strength to the power of THE RAINBOW!!
